This is our first year including a self-published author at the Festival. MFOB features a diverse group of authors in conversations, panels, and presentations. We can’t wait to discover the self-published star in our midst and welcome you to MFOB 2018! When evaluating submissions, we consider not only a book’s literary merit but also where it might fit in with the other work in the festival lineup. Judges’ decisions are final.
The contest winner will be showcased at the Main Festival on Saturday, October 13, as a presenting author, promoted alongside our full author roster. The author’s book will also be made available for purchase and signing that day.
