(All ages; To be published October 3, 2017)

What if you were small and alone and the world was big, but you sang a song anyway? Would someone answer you? Would someone sing in return? This nearly wordless graphic story follows a little girl in search of a friend. With the simplest of narratives, Newbery Award-winner Kate DiCamillo conveys a lonely child’s yearning for someone who understands.

The pre-reservation period for a seat at Kate’s talk has ended. However, there will be seats available on a first come first served basis at the Festival.
