We are thrilled to announce our author lineup for MFOB 2021! The all-day FREE festival on Saturday, October 9, offers something for everyone with more than 30 fiction, nonfiction, young adult, and children’s authors, book sales and signing, and outdoor entertainment.
Our priority is to continue our tradition of bringing authors and readers together, while keeping everyone safe. Author sessions are being primarily held at outdoor venues. Proof of vaccination, for entry to author talks, and masks at both indoor and outdoor venues are required. Click here to review our full COVID-19 safety policy.
Created by and for people who love books, MFOB has become a destination event for authors and readers. Since its inception, the fest has established itself among the top book festivals nationwide, drawing thousands of annual attendees to enjoy:
KidFest is about the power of books in each child’s life. Our team is planning for an in-person event with authors and illustrators who share their creative passion with our most important readers! Current CDC guidelines will determine our decisions and safety protocols for this event.
Since 2014, the Festival has brought the community together to celebrate the power of the written word.
We have hosted Pulitzer Prize winners, NYT bestsellers, Newbury and Caldecott medalists, and more.
