Ferris wheel high, I grabbed your hand Your long French braids and flower dress Cotton candy stained our broad smiles We saw the whole sky, the world spread out beneath us Our bracelets gleamed pink in the sunlight
We reached the ground, our hands still intertwined Stumbled into the moving sea of people I stayed in the light of your setting sun hair Never breaking, always swaying Into each other when we drifted apart
No clouds drifted by; we were infinite Our friendship would sparkle forevermore
