Kate DiCamillo
Kate DiCamillo is the beloved author of many children books, including Flora & Ulysses and The Tale of Despereaux, both of which received Newbery Medals. Her most recent novel, Raymie Nightingale, was an instant #1 New York Times best seller and a National Book Award Finalist. She is also the author of Because of Winn-Dixie, a Newbery Honor Book. A former National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature with more than 22 million books in print worldwide, Kate DiCamillo lives in Minneapolis.

This nearly wordless graphic story follows a little girl in search of a friend. With the simplest of narratives, Newbery Award-winner Kate DiCamillo conveys a lonely child’s yearning for someone who understands.
The pre-reservation period for a seat at Kate’s talk has ended. However, there will be seats available on a first come first served basis at the Festival.

Signing guidelines:
- Kate DiCamillo will sign and personalize unlimited copies of La La La.
- Kate DiCamillo will sign a maximum of one of her previously published books per person (please purchase at festival book sales tent).
- Photos can be taken as she signs, but there will be no pauses for posed photographs.
