Nick Bruel
Nick Bruel (pron. “mule” or “fool” or “tool” or “drool” or . . . you get the picture) is best known as the author and illustrator of the New York Times best-selling Bad Kitty series. He lives in bucolic Briarcliff Manor, New York, with his wife and daughter, a dog, two cats, and an indeterminate number of stinkbugs hiding in the walls.
MFOB FEATURED BOOK: Bad Kitty, Scaredy-Cat (to be published August 2016)
Kitty wasn’t always such a scaredy-cat. She used to be brave and lionhearted. That is, until one late October day, when a group of terrifying monsters shows up on her doorstop and Kitty becomes VERY scared. She decides to take matters into her own paws. Bad Kitty is back in her first full-length picture book, and she’s up against something scary, something creepy, something more frightening than Puppy’s good moods: Halloween.
