MFOB featured book: A Novel Summer
Debut novelist Shelby Archer found inspiration for her book at the beach in Cape Cod. When she returns to celebrate her best seller, she expects a warm homecoming. Instead, she gets cold shoulders from friends who feel exposed and betrayed by her book. And one of these friends needs help for the summer saving her family’s indie bookstore.
In A Novel Summer, Shelby sets her focus on the tiny seaside shop, getting lost in the shelves of beloved books and trying to right the wrongs of her past. With every page turned and every customer served, she comes closer to gaining back the trust of those she has hurt. But as her next deadline nears, Shelby is forced to choose between her own success and a second chance at love and belonging.
