Laura Schenone, this year’s “One Community, One Book” featured author, is a James Beard Award winning author of A Thousand Years Over a Hot Stove: A History of American Women Told through Food, Recipes, and Remembrances. Her second book, The Lost Ravioli Recipes of Hoboken, was featured in Newsweek, Readers Digest, Entertainment Weekly, NPR, and Newsday, where it was selected as a cookbook pick of the year. She has written travel, food, and other features for major magazines and newspapers. Laura lives in Montclair, New Jersey.
