MFOB featured book: Against the Grain
Against the Grain is a narrative of family farmers around the world who are confronting the collision of humanity’s two supreme imperatives: Nourishing us all and preserving the planet from the very consequences of growing our food. They have seen how their modern agriculture practices have turned on them, depleting their soils and water sources, altering their climate and environment, imperiling their ability to nourish their families, and ours. Their stories take readers on a transcontinental journey through their pioneering efforts to work with nature, heal their land, and ensure the viability of their farms for generations to come.
